Hannah Brown
jeweler turned painter
Beneath the Bell Jar
In this series, I wanted to explore the idea of preserving drifting memories and curious thoughts — each work sitting beneath glass, protected, elevated, and contained. Each is its own specimen of a private world, yet grounded by something that connects us. This body of work expands on my ongoing fascination with nature and the preciousness of small things — a thread rooted in my background as a jeweler.
Girl and Garden
This collection of oil paintings introduce lighter color palettes along with the female figure while still touching on notes of my jewelry background. These pieces are intertwined with personal memories and symbolic meanings.
