Hannah Brown graduated from Colorado State University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a concentration in Metalsmithing and Jewelry. Following her education, Brown moved back to Dallas to start her career as a custom fine jeweler for a local elite designer. She was captivated by the precision and beauty of gemstones. That influence still shines through her work: jewels and gem-like forms appear as both signature and remembrance, honoring the preciousness found in even the smallest details of nature.
Her work has been recognized both locally and internationally, including 3rd Place in the 2024 Women United Art Prize and serving as the 2025 Art Chair for Dwell with Dignity’s Thrift Studio. She continues to evolve her practice while staying rooted in the inspirations that began her journey — the tenderness of memory and the enduring brilliance of the natural world.
